Shenzhen AIoT Summit Recap

On October 24, 2021, the Shenzhen AIoT Summit Forum was successfully held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). The forum invited six speakers, covering a wide range of hot topics such as in-memory computing chips, AIoT platform construction, energy Internet of Things, iot security, intelligent voice, and industrial digitalization, allowing the audience to gain a deeper understanding of the current development status and trends of AIoT in specific application fields.

工业路由器The Shenzhen AIoT Summit Forum is jointly hosted by the Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association and Anchuang Accelerator, and co-hosted by Shenzhen Internet of Things Media Co., Ltd. and the GSA Global Semiconductor Alliance. The forum aims to enhance industry exchanges and jointly promote the healthy development of the AIoT industry.

The first speaker is Wang Shaodi, the founder and CEO of Beijing Zhicun Technology Co., LTD. Due to the impact of the epidemic on the originally scheduled schedule, Mr. Wang’s speech was conducted online. His speech topic is “In-Memory Computing Chips in WTM2101”.

Mr. Wang first explained the memory wall bottleneck that the industry is facing. The biggest computing bottleneck is the insufficient speed of data processing. In addition, high processing energy consumption is another key issue. As the complexity of computing tasks increases, the amount of data required grows larger and larger, and so does the power consumption.

The new storage mode integrating storage and computing is different from the traditional storage mode. Through parallel operation, the efficiency is 50 to 100 times higher than that of the traditional mode. In addition to large-scale parallel operations, in-memory computing can also save a significant amount of data bandwidth.

Finally, Wang Shaodi introduced the WTM2101 intelligent solution of Zhicun Technology. The computing power of this chip is much stronger than that of similar chips on the market. With the continuous development of in-memory computing, the accuracy, capacity and computing power will be improved, and the application scenarios will become increasingly extensive.

The next guest is Guo Jun, a senior architect of the Internet of Things at Beijing Qingcloud Technology Co., LTD. His speech topic is “Qingcloud’s Practice in Building an AIoT Integration Platform”.

As the entire society continues to develop in the direction of digitalization, the Internet of Things has begun to show an explosive trend. In 2020, the number of global Internet of Things (iot) connections surpassed that of non-iot connections for the first time, marking a new historical moment in the development of the iot. With the rapid growth of mobile data, AI has become the brain of IOT, transforming simple device connections into intelligent ones and maximizing the value of the Internet of Things.

Guo Jun introduced that QingCloud’s Qingcan AIoT solution covers security solutions, access solutions, data model solutions, data routing solutions, edge application solutions, platform operation and maintenance solutions, etc. The overall architecture of the data center platform consists of end, edge and cloud.

Finally, Guo Jun explained practical cases of AIOT intelligent inspection and visiting scenarios. Intelligent inspection robots can accurately identify obstacles, various Pointers, display instruments, etc. The robot collects various early warnings from terminal devices, including lighting, access control, temperature and humidity, etc., and reports the data through the Internet of Things platform to form a unified inspection report.

The speaker is Fang Bin, the general manager of Trina Solar Internet Technology (Hangzhou) Co., LTD. His speech topic is “Opportunities and Challenges of Energy Internet of Things under the Dual Carbon Goals”.

With the prominence of environmental and energy issues and the continuous improvement of people’s environmental awareness, all countries around the world have set their own dual carbon goals. At present, more than 130 countries around the world have set carbon neutrality goals, accounting for 55% of their total carbon emissions. This is an inevitable trend. Under the impetus of policies, the combination of the Internet of Things and the dual carbon goals is a direction and opportunity that can be seized in the future.

In the past, IT was widely believed that the carbon platform and carbon data of IT industrial routers were of low frequency and had no strong connection with the Internet of Things. Nowadays, with the intervention of Internet of Things (iot) technology, real-time data can be tracked and tampered with. Providing carbon data sources through the Internet of Things (iot) platform is the most significant value of the iot.

Subsequently, the keynote speaker was Bai Zhaoyin, a technical expert from Beijing Zhongdian Huada Electronic Design Co., LTD. His speech topic was “The Core and Mission of Internet of Things Security at the Beginning”

After entering the era of the Internet of Things, the security of information and data has become a key issue. If the device end wants to be connected to the Internet, it will put forward security requirements from the device end to the cloud. The security of Internet of Things (iot) terminals includes local security, network communication security and cloud security.

Security chips take cryptographic algorithms as their core content, but they are essentially different from ordinary MCUS. Bgi has a complete set of system requirements from design to sealing testing, production and post-certification.

Finally, Mr. Bai introduced that Huada Electronics belongs to the chip design sector. This industry encompasses chip manufacturing and chip packaging and testing, mainly focusing on smart cards, Se and security main controllers.

The next speaker was Peng Linna, the marketing director of Shenzhen Mitang Technology Co., LTD. Her speech was titled “AIoT Smart Home System Centered on Voice”.

From mainframes to personal computers, personal computers, smart phones, industrial cellular routers and the future, the entire trend of technology is that human-computer interaction is iterative. According to IDC data, in 2022, the market size of smart home will reach 277 billion US dollars, among which the proportion of voice intelligence can reach 1.8%.

Peng Linna stated that the difficulties and challenges faced by industrial wifi routers in voice intelligence can be divided into three aspects: first, industrial design and Mai array limitations; second, privacy and security; and lastly, cloud and end-to-end control.

Finally, Peng Linna introduced the voice solution provided by Mitang for AIoT. Mitang can provide partners with a full range of services including user experience design, microphone array design, software and hardware voice, and mass production. At present, this solution has been applied to some smart chandeliers, smart coffee machines, smart routers and other products.

The last speaker was Li Guang, co-founder of Beijing Taosi Data Technology Co., LTD. His speech topic was “Dual-band Routers: The Key Infrastructure for Industrial Digital Transformation – An Efficient Internet of Things Big Data Processing Engine and Application”.

Taosi Data’s model is to become an open-source company and open source all its core competencies. As a ToB company, the number of open-source users has reached 100,000. After its Series A and Series B financing rounds, the company has raised over 70 million US dollars in financing.

Mr. Li stated that the digital transformation of industry and the big data of the Internet of Things are facing three major pain points. Firstly, the explosive growth of data in wireless router modules has put forward very high requirements for data storage, concurrent data writing and data querying. The traditional solution has encountered a very big bottleneck. Ii. How to Achieve Digitalization of Equipment; Thirdly, the core software relies on foreign software and lacks an independent and controllable solution. ,

Finally, Mr. Li explained the core module of the wireless router with a practical case. By replacing the traditional database at the factory end, the data reading and writing adaptability of the distributed architecture was enhanced.
